Exergy believes a successful multidisciplinary project requires the efficient use of collaboration, communication, coordination and interoperability. Through the use of Building Information Modelling (BIM), Exergy has been able to integrate and collaborate on several projects reducing risks and producing high quality outputs.

Exergy utilizes Autodesk Revit Architecture to provide intelligent Architectural and BIM modelling services. Revit allows us to develop accurate and high quality architectural designs, while providing full BIM capabilities.

Revit enables us to produce single multi-disciplinary models which allow us to present and communicate 3D designs easily and clearly for our clients. We are able to analyse, interrogate and evaluate intelligent models to further the project beyond the capabilities of 2D designs. Exergy manipulates these models to produce detailed construction information and stunning 3D visualisations.

Case Studies

John Laing Building

John Laing case study tile

The John Laing Building is situated in Coventry, UK and is part of the Coventry University district. This building was created in Revit to provide a 3D interactive model with intelligent data for partners within the project. These partners from outside the UK were able to extrapolate results directly from the model to simulate particular environmental scenarios.

Balderskolan Secondary School is situated in Skelleftea, Sweden. Exergy created this model in Autodesk Revit to demonstrate potential areas for a retrofit. Creating a BIM model eased the decision making process and ensured communication and coordination between partners went untroubled.

George Elliot Building

Exergy has delivered a feasibility report on a 25 Kw Solar PV-Rooftop system. The PV system is grid-connected, designed to utilise the maximum roof space available on the building producing 18,354 kWh/year.

Vantage Point (Birmingham-UK)

Vantage Point

In collaboration with the Black Country Housing Group, Exergy has been invited to design a solar PV system for a curved-roof care home development, located in Birmingham, UK. This 143kWp system consists of 551 x 260Wp solar modules be installed flat to the roof to maximise the space available.
